DEXIT Global Limited has appointed Dr. Abhay Jere as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer subject to approval of the shareholders of the company and such other approvals as may be required in this respect, marking a transformative moment in India's ambition to build globally competitive assessment and education technology. As Vice Chairman of AICTE and Chief Innovation Officer at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Jere architected the world's largest hackathon initiative and built innovation ecosystems engaging five million users. He spent eight years at Persistent Systems leading IP-led platforms in analytics and AI-enabled decision support. He brings a rare combination: startup-level innovation agility paired with enterprise governance discipline and board-level strategic thinking. Dr Jere succeeds Mr. R Krishnan who has risen and also lead DEXIT for over 15 years including a successful transition from being an NSE Subsidiary to the CL Educate group and superannuates on March 31, 2026.
